Of Igloos And Cupcakes

The Pittsburgh Penguins will play in their brand new arena at the start of the 2010/11 season, ending their 43-year residency at Mellon Arena, otherwise known as The Igloo.

The naming rights to the new arena were awarded today, and my comments about it to A’Hottie, went something like this:

Eddie: The “Console Energy Arena” will be the name of the new Pens arena?

wow

AH: dude

Penguins live in the CEA

it’s perfect

Eddie: oh

I was wrong - It’s the “Console Energy Center”

AH: oh

that is lame

we shall call it “The Cupcake”

Eddie: heheheheee

hahahahaaaa

oh wow, that’s awesome
