Outstanding Achievements

In approximately 12 hours (yes, I am up late), a number of regular visitor to this blog will be attending their graduation ceremony. A ceremony that represents not only their 3 years at Law School, but also every year of their lives that have led up to this point. I have been at the ’spouse’ end of law school, and I know what a grueling 3 years of education it can be, and can often lead to a good deal of bitterness when looking back at some of the tougher times.

But to all of you who are graduating today, please never lose sight of what an outstanding and awesome achievement it is to be graduating from Law School - it shows such a level of commitment, dedication, intelligence and determination, that you should feel nothing but absolute pride in yourselves.

You all have wonderfully bright futures ahead of you, and anyone who knows you will be sharing in the pride of your accomplishments today. And now is the time that you get to show the world what you’re really made of; Embrace it, and make a difference.

Enjoy this day - you truly deserve to, as a symbol of your entire journey through life that has brought you to this special day.

CONGRATULATIONS

(And then GO PENS! at 3pm ET . . . !!!)

  1. A successful graduation which was fun to watch online AND a great 6-0 victory for the Pens to send them to the Stanley Cup Final. What a great day!
